Referencing
How do we make sure we're not stealing other people's work?
Have you ever heard someone make up a joke and it was sooo funny you just had to tell someone else. Then they ask you where the joke came from. You tell them the persons name. You have just referenced that person. Using other people's material for your own work is ok as long as you use a reference. Referencing is a standard way that people across the world can tell a reader or a viewer where they got their information from.
There are many different styles of referencing. In this class we will be using the APA referencing system.

Find two of these documents on the topic of natural disasters. Complete a reference for each and save it in a word document in my dropbox (gaddr) under your named folder.
